ACY is a project, a big art project for those who always dreamed about becoming an artist but either never got around to it or doubted that they had a necessary talent. To be more precise, ACY is an art project by the people for the people to reveal an inner artist inside each of us and to cast away doubts that you may have had about your potential to become an artist and excel in it.

Who else is ACY for?

Our people are many. Besides those who dreamed about becoming an artist, there are those already taking various art classes but all they learn is merely a set of drawing skills instead of focusing on how to find the right way to express the unique creative potential. There are also artists in bad need of a confidence boost because they get is a harsh judgment about their talent too often. There are also millions of parents who want their children to take art classes but not all art classes are created equal. Some of them reveal a true artist in you and help realize the creative force within each of us and some of them only create self-doubt and self-hatred in children. Every parent wants to know what classes to sign up for and what classes to stay away from.

We can’t overlook those in need of art therapy with its great soothing and healing effects on the body and mind and those who provide that therapy to them. We also encourage tens of millions of art teachers who constantly strive to improve their teaching skills and methodology to give us a try.

How does one help one become an artist when people never even held a brush in their hands and have no idea how to start?

The uniqueness of our approach is that instead of teaching students how to hold a brush or mix colors from day 1 we teach them how to deal with their SDHS or self-doubts, self-hatred, and self-denials. We believe that every human being should be whole and complete and nothing hampers this process more than lack of self-confidence, doubts, harsh judgments against yourself and others, and denying yourself the chance to reach your highest potential. All of this makes us incomplete, lacking wholeness and ACY strives to bridge that gap by teaching students the art of completion Combination of this with the teaching the students the necessary art skills brings the whole process to the entirely new and much higher level.

The result? Spectacular art and a happy artist. But that would be an oversimplification.
