I wanted to share these three great opportunities for emerging artists working on their career.
1. The Clark Hulings Fund for Visual Artists’ Business Accelerator Fellowship is designed with emerging career artists in mind.
All applicant must have had their work previously exhibited and/or published and must work in one of the media approved by the fund. Applications will be accepted starting September 1 and the deadline for submissions is September 30.

2. Fulbright Fellowships. Creative and performing artists are eligible in several categories. Applicants must apply through an academic institution they currently attend or through their alma mater. If applicants are not able to apply through an academic institution, they must apply as “at large” candidates. Deadline for submissions is October 9 at 5:00 pm ET.

3. The Guggenheim Fellowship is a prestigious annual award Applicants are required to submit a career narrative as well as a statement of plans along with samples of their work, a CV, and other supporting documents including letters of recommendation. Submission deadlines operate on a timeline throughout the autumn of 2018.
