One of my Vedic Art Students is in the process of expressing the principles through mandalas.  Mandalas are deeply spiritual and at the same time they are such a beautiful form of art expression. Making them makes you see the world around you at a deeper level.  Your experience of life becomes vibrant, rich.

Anyway, here is the story from my student.  She is  traveling though Asia now.

”  Yesterday, we went to the eye doctor who is located far from our apartment.   We are in taxi driving back home. Suddenly, the sky became very dark and the tropical rain has began.  It became so heavy that we can’t see where we are going.  I looked at the window to see if I can locate the Twin Towers (we live near by).  Suddenly, I saw the line of the palm trees and their tops were in the sky like mandalas.  It was so amazing!  The tree mandalas showing me my position.
